This report is an in-depth analysis of what a large-scale mining operation would look like at Conglomerate Mesa.     We regret that this event has been canceled due to the unavailability of our group leaders.  Join Friends of the Inyo for a campout at Conglomerate Mesa and a sunrise hike to see the Inyo Rock Daisy in bloom.  It's a time-sensitive window in July only! We’ll beat the heat by heading out toward the Mesa on Saturday evening, July 9, spending the night, getting up early Sunday morning, July 10, and watching the sunrise on our hike up to see this unique, delicate flower.
