    Join Friends of the Inyo and the Forest Service for a Wilderness Week in the White Mountains from August 21 - 24, 2025! What? Volunteers will build low-tech stream restoration structures in Davis Creek Meadow and perform trail maintenance on Boundary Peak Trail.  Who? Inyo County locals or those from further afield are welcome to join this project. The project will include hiking and manual labor, so volunteers should be have good physical fitness and be generally comfortable with high elevation and physically strenuous work.  What do volunteers need to bring?     What is Flash Foxy? The Flash Foxy Trad Fest is a three-day climbing event for women and genderqueer climbers of all ages.     Take a hike amongst aspen groves, wildflowers, and waterfalls while stopping to observe and sketch the surrounding beauty. No art experience needed—just a sense of curiosity!
