Join Friends of the Inyo and the Sierra National Forest for a spectacular five days of stewardship in Humphreys Basin over Piute Pass. We'll be working to restore illegal campsites and fire rings in this fragile alpine environment, and we'll also save plenty of time for swimming, hiking, sharing stories, and enjoying a beautiful place. We're proud to join the Mammoth Lakes Trail System and Convict Lake Resort to celebrate 10 years of community trail stewardship with a day of trail work and clean up. Meet at Convict Lake at 8:30 AM on Saturday, August 11 for a delicious free bagel breakfast provided by Old New York Deli and Bagel followed by work assignments. Afterwards we’ll regroup for a gourmet lunch brought to you by Volunteer Eastern Sierra and Bleu Handcrafted foods, along with raffle prizes, and lots of great giveaways!
