Seeing Detail in the Natural World: Storytelling, Your Senses, and the Creative Process

Join Lauren, a Friends of the Inyo Trail Ambassador, on an interactive hike along the Little Lakes Valley Trail in Rock Creek. Using story-telling, your senses, and the creative process, you’ll heighten your observation skills to develop a more personal relationship with your natural surroundings. On this interactive hike, you’ll be encouraged to get your hands dirty and learn through experience.

Meet Lauren at 10AM at the Mosquito Flat Trailhead at the end of Rock Creek Road. Bring water, sunscreen, snacks, layers, and appropriate footwear for hiking. The length of the walk will depend on group consensus (but be prepared to be out for at least two hours). The Little Lakes Valley Trail is fairly easy walking.
