Join us for National Public Lands Day as we give back together to our public lands on Saturday September 24th, in partnership with the US Forest Service! Meet at the Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center in Lee Vining between 8:30 and 9 a.m. for registration (scroll down for address and map details). Then, beginning at 9, Friends of the Inyo Trail Ambassador Jean Redle will lead a group in lopping overgrown brush on the Lundy Canyon Trail. Loppers and gloves will be provided. At Bodie Hills Stewardship Day we'll celebrate the Wilderness Study Areas, State Historic Park, BLM lands, and Forest Service lands that make up the incredible public landscape of the Bodie Hills. Meet us at 8:30AM on Saturday, September 29 at the Mono Basin Forest Service Visitor Center in Lee Vining. We'll be collaborating with the Bodie Hills Conservation Partnership, Bodie State Historic Park, and the BLM to clean up an more than ONE ACRE OF TRASH from an old dump site in Rattlesnake Gulch near Conway Summit.
