Bridgeport Trails Day

Celebrate the Fourth of July weekend at the second annual Bridgeport Trails Day! Meet at the Mono Village parking lot at Upper Twin Lake at 9am on Saturday, June 30 for a fun morning of trail work and lakeshore clean-up. All ages welcome. Bring water and sunscreen and wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. We will provide work gloves and tools. All volunteers will receive a free coupon for ice cream at the Twin Lakes Resort! Thanks to our partners: Mono County, the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, and the Twin Lakes Resort.

Interpretive Hike at Rock Creek Lakes Resort

Photo by Sam Roberts.   Join Lauren, a Friends of the Inyo Trail Ambassador, at Rock Creek Lakes Resort for a three-hour ramble in Little Lakes Valley. Using story-telling, your senses, and the creative process, heighten your observation skills to develop a more personal relationship with your natural surroundings. On this interactive hike, you will be encouraged to get your hands dirty and learn through experience. Meet at Rock Creek Lakes Resort at 10am on Saturday, June 30. All ages welcome. Bring lunch, water, sunscreen, and appropriate footwear for hiking.
