Powers of Observation: Exploring Rock Creek Through the Seasons with Friends of the Inyo

Join Trail Ambassador Kelly for a seasonal naturalist walk in Rock Creek. Each program highlights what’s happening on the landscape at that time of year, from blooming wildflowers to signs of wildlife activity. June’s walk will focus on identifying local wildflowers and discovering evidence that reveals the hidden lives of Rock Creek’s wildlife.

📅 Dates: Sunday 7/12, 7/19, 8/16, 9/13. Select tickets for a specific date below.

⌚ Time: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

📍 Location: Meet at the Rock Creek Sno Park

 🐻 Special considerations: Participants should bring sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), layers for temperature regulation, good walking footwear, and water. All ages are welcome! The terrain is suitable for all ability levels, with little to no elevation gain or uneven footing.

 

REGISTRATION

Each individual participant must register. Participants under 18 must have a parent/guardian register for them. Registration is, and always will be, completely free! Optional donations support our continued stewardship and policy programming.
