Conglomerate Mesa Exploration
Nestled between the Inyo Mountains and Malpais Mesa Wildernesses, Conglomerate Mesa is a Joshua tree, pinyon- juniper studded roadless landscape which we have been fighting to protect since 2008 when gold mining threats began to emerge there. Once again this high desert gem of public land is under attack from mining interests. We will venture out to Conglomerate and learn about the current project which proposes to drill seven exploratory drill sites to locate gold deposits.
