Great Sierra River Cleanup

Join Eastern Sierra Land Trust, the Sierra Club, and Friends of the Inyo on Saturday, September 15th as we partner with organizations throughout the Sierra in the Great Sierra River Cleanup (GSRC). The GSRC is a statewide volunteer event that focuses on removing trash from Sierra Nevada waterways.

We are leading a special effort to clean up trash from the island in the middle of South Lake! Space is limited to 10 people with watercraft. Please email lauren@friendsoftheinyo.org to RSVP.

Drinks and snacks will be provided. Please bring a hat, sunscreen, and water; leave pets at home. If you do not have a boat, you are still encouraged to participate in the main cleanup event in the Owens Valley; email ryan@eslt.org to RSVP for that.
