Friends of the Inyo is excited to help promote an online water learning series from our friends at Walking Water, which catalyzes storytelling, knowledge sharing, and the discovery of new possible directions and solutions for the future of water through pilgrimage, council, and associated events.

The first three parts of the series, spaced out monthly during the first quarter of 2024, will feature the following topics:

  1. Before L.A.: Remembering Ancestors of Place – Featuring Insights from the Owens Valley Indian Water Commission –  6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 18
  2. Vision of Los Angeles, An Overview of L.A.’s Water Management System – With Accelerate Resilience L.A. – 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 8
  3. Ecology of a River – Environmental Discussion with L.A. WaterKeeper – 6 to 8 p.m. Thusday, March 14
