SUMMARY:Volunteers Needed for Upper Rock Creek Boardwalk Restoration
DESCRIPTION:This popular path for locals is in a dangerous state of disrepair and we’ve been working to replace it section-by-section over multiple seasons. We need volunteers – no experience needed – to help us install the next segment.\n📅 Date: Saturday\, August 2nd\, 2025 \n⌚ Time: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM \n📍 Location:  Park at the Sno-Park parking area. Volunteers will meet here to discuss the plan for the day and enjoy some coffee before carpooling closer to the work site. \n🎒 What to Bring: \n\nWork boots or other durable\, preferably waterproof\, shoes\nLong pants\, ideally a durable canvas or denim\nSun protection (sun screen\, hat\, sun shirt\, sunglasses)\nAt least 1 liter of water – more is always better!\nPlenty of snacks and lunch\n\n🔨 FOI will provide all tools\, work gloves\, and eye protection.
