DESCRIPTION:Mammoth 5th graders will be at the Mammoth Welcome Center on Feb 19th and 21st for this year’s SnowSchool! SnowSchool is an outdoor education experience that gets kids to have fun outside and be curious about their natural environment. We’re still looking for volunteers!\n\n\nWhat will volunteers be doing? Leading activity stations for up to 10 students at a time and helping with site setup and breakdown.\n\n\nWho should volunteer? Anyone who enjoys being outside and working with kids. Volunteers do not need any previous outdoor education experience – all lessons and activities will be supplied ahead of time and lessons are not complicated! Volunteers should be comfortable being outside and in the snow for several hours at a time.\n\n\nHow long are volunteers needed? Volunteers are needed from 8:30 to 1:30 each day. You’re welcome to sign up for any number of days that work for your schedule.\n\n\nWhere is Mammoth SnowSchool happening? At the Mammoth Lakes Welcome Center \n\n\nWhy? \nBecause it’s going to be fun!!!\n\nBreakfast and coffee will be provided!\n\nEmail izzy@friendsoftheinyo.org for more information or to sign up.

The 20th annual film lineup will screen short films about: athletic pursuit in the mountains\, artistic vision\, friendship\, and how the snowsports community is adapting to change.\n\n\nProceeds go to SnowSchool: an outdoor education program offered to local elementary schools.\nPurchase Your Tickets Here\nWhen:\nSaturday\, December 14th @ the Bishop Twin Theater.
