The event announcement from Bishop Area Climbers Coalition

We have two great ways for you to give back, all in one day! Grab your quarantine pod, pick up some supplies, and head out to clean up. Pick anywhere you like: in town, along the river, or at your favorite crag. We’ll be at the Fairgrounds from 8:00-10:00 AM to pass out trash grabbers and bags. Please wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines at pick-up.

Then, join us for a double-feature drive-in movie! If you’ve picked up trash, your entrance into the films is free. We’re partnering with Patagonia to bring you two great new films. Stone Locals tells the stories of climbers doing their part to support their community. Rotpunkt: Bibliographie brings us into the world of elite climber Alex Megos (who came to Bishop last year to show us his last film!). Movie entrance is $20/car for anyone who doesn’t participate in the clean-up, and 50% of proceeds benefit the BACC! Gates open at 5:00 PM for a 6:00 PM start time.
