Chocolate Mountain Outing

Join us for a great hike up Chocolate Mountain lead by Executive Director Wendy Schneider and Communications & Outreach Manager Alex Ertaud.
This strenuous hike will take us to the top of one of the Eastern Sierra’s most stunning desert peaks.
Participants should be in good physical shape, prepared with food and water for a 4 mile round-trip hike with 1,400 ft of vertical gain.
***Chocolate Mountain is situated in the Piper Mountain Wilderness, and as such, there is a limit to our group size. Please RSVP to alex@friendsoftheinyo.org if you would like to join us.***
The plan is to be hiking by 9:30 AM, and back to our vehicles at 3:00 PM at the latest.
