    Join Friends of the Inyo, MLTPA and event sponsor Convict Lake Resort for a day of trail work and trash cleanup around beautiful Convict Lake! Help the FOI crew complete major improvements to fishing access points along the trail, tidy up the stream bed at the lake's inlet and just generally get things in great shape on this national day of service.

    After a busy summer, it's time to get together and celebrate! All Friends of the Inyo members are invited to a party in the woods, under the stars, next to the new Owens River Headwaters Wilderness.

    We cap off the Summer of Stewardship with a National Public Lands Day event at Glass Creek, on the Headwaters of the Owens River. We'll improve and restore campsites and access roads, and work on the trail to Glass Creek Meadow in the new wilderness.

    When: Saturday, September 25. Meet at 8:30 a.m. at the hwy. 395/Obsidian Dome (Glass Flow) Rd parking area to carpool to the work sites.
