June Burn/Jeffrey Pine Ski Tour--Canceled

Jan 23 2010 Join Friends of the Inyo for a moderate half-day ski through a pocket of recently burned Jeffrey pine forest on the southern edge of the Mono Basin, in search of illusive black-backed woodpeckers and insights into local geology, winter animal tracks and Jeffrey pine forest ecology.
We've postponed this trip due to heavy snowfall--please check back to see when it's happening, and please join us on another trip!
