Glacier Canyon/Dana Plateau Hike

Enjoy the rush of Glacier Creek and the sweeping views of the Dana Plateau on this short but steep hike in the small but scenic addition to the Ansel Adams Wilderness, just east of Yosemite National Park.
Meet at the Tioga Lake Overlook (on Highway 120, 11 miles west of Lee Vining) at 9 a.m. Or join a carpool by meeting at the parking area outside the Mobil station on Hwy. 120 at 8:30 a.m. Bring water, lunch, sunscreen and bug repellent. Wilderness hikes are limited to 15 people--please RSVP to explore@friendsoftheinyo.org. No dogs, please.
